They are suitable for grinding
● Hot-strip mill rolls (commonly called"chilled iron rolls")which are usually nickel grain or nickel chill castings, alloyed
with chrome nickel and molybdenum;
● Cold strip mill rolls which are most forged steel with a few being 86CrMOV7 or 4Cr5MOSIV1;
● Back-up rolls which are usually steel with a few being cast iron;
● Paper mill rolls which are usually chilled iron with a few steel and some rubber.
